Dell has recently added one more laptop to its Inspiron range. Dell Inspiron i3567-5664BLK-PUS is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop with a price tag under $500. It features an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and a huge 2TB hard drive. Considering its tech specs and price tag, Dell’s new Inspiron laptop is a decent laptop for day-to-day usage.

Tech Specs and Performance

Dell Inspiron i3567-5664BLK-PUS features a 15.6-inch HD screen with touch capability. The 15.6-inch screen carries a mediocre resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and outputs some standard imagery. The touchscreen is not very responsive but gets the work done. It’s better to stick to the trackpad or a mouse instead of trying to get the touchscreen work smoothly, though.

Under the hood, this Dell Inspiron laptop carries some decent tech specs. It is powered by a 7th-generation Intel Core i5-7200U processor. Although the processor is a generation older than current Core processors, it shouldn’t be counted as a disadvantage. It outputs impressive performance coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM. The amount of RAM is expandable up to 16GB.

These tech specs help pre-installed Windows 10 operating system run without any visible slow-downs. Although this Dell laptop delivers a good performance, it can be further improved by removing unwanted bloatware.

Dell Inspiron i3567-5664BLK-PUS carries two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, a multimedia card reader, and a Headphone/microphone combo jack. A DVD read/write combo is also present.

USB 3.0 ports helps with quick data transfers while also being backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. An HDMI port allows connection with modern displays, projectors etc. Users who work with CDs/DVDs often will appreciate the DVD drive but those who don’t will have to bare with the burden of an unwanted feature.

For wireless connections, this Dell Inspiron laptop carries Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. Bluetooth 4.0 provides high-speed and reliable connection with other Bluetooth capable devices. The 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi allows decent Wi-Fi connectivity but it’s slower than the new 802.11AC technology, of course.

Taking everything into consideration, this Dell Inspiron is a laptop good enough for daily usage. It features a powerful Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and ample 2TB storage. The performance of Windows 10 is commendable but you might want to remove the pre-installed bloatware and improve its performance a bit.
