Amazon has updated its Prime Exclusive smartphones catalog. Two new phones - Moto G5 Plus and Alcatel A30 will now be available at subsidized rates.

Amazon has added two new smartphones to its Prime Exclusive Phones catalog. The latest entries to this list are Moto G5 Plus and Alcatel A30. Both these smartphones will now be available at subsidized rates on Amazon. With this ‘Prime Exclusive’ offer, you will be able to get Moto G5 Plus and Alcatel A30 at discounted rates and in return, you will have to let Amazon display ads on your phone.

With Prime Exclusive Offers and Ads subsidy, Moto G5 Plus [amazon link=”B01NBRN2YI” title=”price comes down”] price comes down from $229.99 to $184.99 for the 32GB model. That’s a $45 discount. The 64GB model will get a $60 discount – bringing its price to $239.99 from $299.99. [amazon link=”B01N6YB3EB” title=”Alcatel A30″] will be available with the same offer for $59.99 instead of its original price of $99.99.

All smartphones sold with Amazon’s Exclusive Offers and Ads come factory unlocked and you can choose to use any carrier.

Both Moto G5 Plus and Alcatel A30 boast some great features for their price. The recently launched Moto G Plus 5th generation comes with Android 7.0 Nougat. This 5.2-inch smartphone with 1080p HD display carries a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. The 32GB variant offers 2GB RAM while the 64GB model offers 4GB RAM. It also features a 12MP primary and 5MP front cameras. Its storage can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

The 5-inch Alcatel A30 also runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It features a 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The 16GB internal memory can be expanded up to 32GB with a memory card. It carries an 8MP primary and 5MP front camera. Overall, Alcatel A30 is a decent smartphone at its price – especially after applying Amazon’s Prime Exclusive offer.
