Essential Phone Is Now Available via Sprint and Telus

Essential Smartphone Pure White
The Essential Phone is now available via Sprint in the U.S. and Telus in Canada with a monthly payment contract or without a contract.

Essential Phone – One of the most gorgeous Android phones we have seen so far – is now available for sale via Sprint in the USA.

Android co-creator Andy Rubin’s highly anticipated project went through a few hiccups at the initial stage. It missed a few shipping deadlines after being announced on 30th May. But the company started shipping Essential Phone – aka PH-1 – by the end of August.

Sprint has now made Essential Phone available via its online and offline retail stores. Customers can buy the phone for $29.17 per month on an 18-month lease. For those who don’t wish to go for the installment plan, the carrier is offering the phone at $699.

The unlocked Essential is already available for sale via its official website as well as on Amazon and BestBuy at the same price of $699.

Canadian customers can order Essential via Telus on a one or two year contract. The phone can also be purchased without contract for CAD 1,050.

The company was selling their phone combined with a 360-degree camera at $749 for a limited period. After expiration of this offer, this combo is now available at $878 with a discount of $20.

Essential Phone is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, a nearly edge-to-edge display, a titanium and ceramic build, and stock Android – making it one of the most promising smartphones we have seen this year.

There is one thing to keep in mind, though. The Essential Phone is currently available in Black Moon color only. The Pure White color is still listed on their website as ‘coming soon’ and there is no word on when it will be available for orders.
